Hi, I’m Joe Black. After years of being told I talk too much and being told to “turn down that music,” here I am utilizing both in a career I absolutely love. I’ve been fortunate to meet thousands of great people, including some of my favorite music artists and sports stars.
Building close friendships with co-workers and listeners over the years is probably my favorite thing about being in radio. I have had more fun than I can possibly imagine, with the exception of the ribbing I take for being a Yankees fan.
When I’m not playing your favorite classic hits, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching movies and sports. I try not to take life too seriously, laugh often and hope it rubs off on all those that come in contact with me everyday. Tune into the show from 2 to 7 p.m. weekday afternoons, and maybe it’ll rub off on you.
